In June, the Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Championship "Spas" was held in our capital. In Ukrainian traditions, strength and spirit. More than 450 participants from 13 regions and Kyiv took part in the Championship. Athletes demonstrated their skills and abilities in various types of fighting. We congratulate all athletes and their coaches on their participation in the championship.

An International Aikido Seminar was held in the city of Uzhgorod. With the participation of Sensei Stefan Benedetti 7th dan Aikido Aikikai and Miguel Salvador 6th dan Aikido Aikikai and Renshi RSR Iai-jutsu, Shidoin. The basic principles of Aikido and their application in practice were discussed.

Recently in the village A three-day Cossack camp for children of different age categories was held in Zarichany The recreation program included a variety of outdoor activities such as archery, quad biking, sports games, pistol shooting, campfire evenings and much more. The children liked everything, everyone got incredible impressions, positive emotions, and a charge of energy. And a special unforgettable moment for the children was the farewell party with dancing and a bombastic, delicious cake. Where the children plunged into the Cossack atmosphere of the camp with great pleasure.

How can girls be attracted to Aikido?
Do you think it makes sense to create separate groups where only girls will train?
- It seems to me that girls can be attracted to aikido as well as everyone else by publishing and distributing relevant thematic materials, which will allow them to see what results can be achieved, how interesting the training is, various activities (seminars, festivals, camps, etc.).
Then and at the seminars, a person will feel more confident, where the work is going with other organizations involved.
We have always recommended our individual students or students in small groups to come at least once a week to joint groups and work with other people. And we say to all students: "Attend seminars, progress is impossible without this."

Every year, our athletes, together with their friends and parents, go to rest in the picturesque Carpathians in the summer And this time they visited Bukovel, where received a lot of incredible impressions and unforgettable emotions

"We are STRONG when we are TOGETHER!" with this motto, the Charitable Foundation "We Help Ukraine" honored volunteers from Zhytomyr.

Volunteers of the Foundation are not only adult citizens, but also children, our small, but already adult and conscious citizens who, with their drawings, charge our defenders with positive emotions.

From the first days of the foundation, they actively join and help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is help with the manufacture of dugout stoves, dugout candles, the purchase of mine detectors, tasty "energy" kits, warm socks, food products, turnstiles, hygiene products...

In 2023, Pokotylo Roman, head of the Zhytomyr Children's Aikido Federation, was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Foundation for active volunteering
