Technology was passed down from generation to generation within families (clans), and was considered a secret martial art and passed only to the samurai elite. This martial art was called in Japan the "Secret Weapon of the State." Aiki-jutsu came to Ukraine thanks to one of the students of the Sanada family, who studied this martial art in Mongolia.
